Hourahan heads up the public affairs practice working with clients from small local firms to national companies like CVS, Fidelity Investments, Cox Communications, and Johnson and Wales University. With a background in communications and politics, Hourahan has broad experience with the national press, strategic media planning, crisis management and special events.
Prior to joining the Duffy team, he was the Communications Director and reelection Campaign Chairman for U.S. Senator Lincoln Chafee and before that held several positions with the late U.S. Senator John Chafee. With over 20 years either teaching about government and global affairs or working in the Senate, Hourahan brings a unique perspective to the D&S programs that influence public opinion, promote legislative initiatives, and work to solve crises and matters of litigation.
Maggiacomo heads the product and service publicity practice focusing on creating campaigns that help build and communicate powerful brands. With clients like Dorel Juvenile Group, Foster Grant, Cosco Home & Office and Gamer Graffix, Maggiacomo builds innovative publicity programs that cut through the clutter and effectively target diversified audiences.
With more than 14 years of agency experience, Maggiacomo understands the balance between agency and client. Her expertise in cause marketing initiatives, national consumer media relations and strategic brand management brings credible value and integrity to the Duffy team.
